I ran over a bucket today.

On the freeway, as i was switching lanes, there was this bucket in the middle of the road and i remember as i was approaching it, I was in disbelief and my heart sank. It was either that or I try to avoid it but I'd have to make a quick maneuver and i didn't wanna alarm other people on the road. When i got home, I took a look at it, and my paint was all cracked up, my bumper signal was hanging out, and underneath the bumper where the black plastic is, was completely off. Ok i don't really care about the plastic under the bumper or the lenses popping off, cuz i just reattached those, but I'm so p*ssed off about the paint. Damn what the hell, secure ur crap on ur truck or car. I don't even kno if there are other damages that happened underneath the car. Man if the paint chips, I think i'll just get a 97+ conversion. I've always wanted one anyways. People shouldn't even be throwing trash on the freeway. Please don't litter while u drive. Thanx. *****

Damn that sucks
A week ago I was driving and one of the construction cones blew out into my lane, I just stopped and waited for the lady to walk over and pick it up (she was on her way to do it, it had been blown over for a while I guess). Normally I would either go around it or stop and move it, then again a 35mph road is alittle different than the highway.

My sister and her husband recently moved to the Phoenix area and I've never heard as much about junk in the road as I have from them. One night they were driving home from a restaurant and as they were entering the freeway there was a huge chunk of steel, he tried to avoid it but it ended up tearing up his tire and messsing up his rim and quarter panel. The next morning, not even twelve hours later, on the way to work in their other car, different route/streets, my sister has the truck in front of her swerve to the next lane and she has no choice but to hit the 6 foot step ladder in the expressway in front of her. One week later my brother-in-law is driving to work with the now partially repaired tire car and a van in front of him has one of it's rear side windows fly out and smash into his hood and windshield. I don't know if it's their bad luck or daily driving around Phoenix. My other sister, who has lived there for a while now, has hit quite a bit of stuff also. I think it's due to all the construction there.

damn, sorry to hear. I know the feeling, when I had a '98 Altima GLE a few years ago in Oct. '99, I was on a road at night that was under construction and there was an orange barrel right on the edge of the road and a car was passing by in the opposite direction, and the road was narrow at the time and the car in the opposite direction was close to me so I couldn't avoid it and I heard this loud bang and next thing I know my passenger-side mirror was ripped right out of its socket, and was left dangling (until I got home, then temporarily taped it) until I paid $120 for a new mirror

I've been dodging pieces of trees that have fallen into the roads since it's been ridiculously windy around here all week... we pay some of the highest taxes in the country around here and they can't even send out crews to clean the damn streets.

insanity I tell you~

That is why i pay that little extra $35 a month for the collision and accidental protection. plus, since stupid dump trucks like to let gravel fly loose, insurance pays to have all the little holes patched so they dont have to shell out for a new windshield.

Wish i would hit somehting so that i could get my f#ck3d up fog light fixed.

Road trip this weekend....all pray for foglight getting hit by a rock

Man this is the funniest story, Me and my family were on our way to Detroiet in a Rent a Van from StealerPrize, but any ways. ON the way there there was like a Big @$$ semi, And then this Big @$$ elk ran into the path of the semi, It was right next to us when it happend. The Semi truck like punted the poor thing a couple hundred feet. The speed limit for trucks was around 65. Man it was crasy, nothing happend to the truck, but the poor elk was dead
