Check out the Heads UP Display Boost Gauge/Turbo Timer at http://www.machv.com that work buddy e-mailed to me. I think that this looks really promising to those who don't want to have their A-pillar cluttered with gauge pods. I think I'll get one!

i dont mean to be stupid so dont take it the wrong way... but what could be the use for a turbo/boost HUD for most of our max's... dont take that the wrong way iight... do they have HUD's for air/fuel, oil temp, and other stuff like that... i was going to put those A-pillar gauges in but if they have a HUD display for those normal options then i'll get it

hey maxima97gle
bro, the prices at you site are wack, do you think people are stupid enough to pay that much for some sh!tty mods??? and your car, the car and the light covers are tight, but that grill, it makes your car look like a piece of ****, you need to take it off and recycle it for 10 cents! because thats about all your gonna get for nasty a$$ looking grill. but thats just my honest opinion.

I just put the post up for those ppl with the supercharger or turbo installed. For NA Maxs, yes you are correct that its useless for them.
I usually don't list what mods I have on my Max when I post things so I guess I should now, eh?![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
On a side note: let's not dis each others' rides, ok?
I had a discussion with my co-workers about this gizmo and it may not be such a good idea after all. It sits on your dash and without a fancy custom-made cover that's mentioned in the article it could be easily ripped off. I'm probably better off with a small boost gauge but I don't want to mount it on the A pillar. I thought of mounting it somewhere on the dash or below the space below the non-Bose radio. Do they make gauges that small? I've seen them to be over 2" in diameter.
Mods on my '98 Superblack Maxima SE auto:
V2 Stillen Supercharger
Stillen Body Kit (not mounted yet)
Koni Sports shocks
Eibach Pro-Kit
Clear Corner lamps
PIAA Superwhites

Actually, Stillen sells a single din unit that holds 3 46 mm guages. it's only $35, but the guages are anywere from $160 to $350 each depending on which guages you get. They doo look very nice, and am planning on putting some in one of these days...

Thanks, ScreaminFast and Whitemax. That looks great, ScreaminFast but I don't want to replace my stock non-Bose radio. A buddy suggested to mount it on the steering column like on his Eagle Talon. I should take a look into that as well as look into the Stillen catalogue again for those gauges.
Here's the thread for the pods..

i don't think it is a good idea
wut is the point for getting the gauge done where you can't see'em?? i had mine done under my Bose, they look really nice, but to tell you the truth, i can't read shiet off any of those gauges. i think the Autometer A-pillar is the best thing to get for performace. you can read the gauges while you are racing, spot the error right the way. your engine stays or goes depends on them.
