Ok..I think that you are in some serious problem moneywise...And that s because :
1: the transponder keys are very expensive(and if you ve got a 99 Max ,they all came with this antitheft feature)
2: As far as I know , the car will have to be towed to the dealership. They will be able to get the key # by running the VIN , so they will be able to cut the key, even if you don t have the original one(your situation).
3: They will have to connect CONSULT to your car to program the new key(s) and the labor is expensive.
I remember that when I had a 99 and tried to get an extra key the cost was aprox $110 .
Let us know how r u doing after ...Good luck

99s have anti theft (transponder thingy in em) kinda like a Z28 camero.... in other words the key has a lil chip in it that is read by the car when you put the key in the ignition...

I have a 95 and we dont have that....therefore 7 bucks would be the cost of the KEY not the chip and the labor involved with reprograming the new keys....yay for us...er..i guess....
