How many MPG should I be getting?

I have a 98 Automatic SE. I do about 80% city driving and I feel like I'm only getting about 270 miles per tank tops. I use Premium only. Is this on par? I was thinking of changing the fuel filter which looks kinda old. I'm not sure how old it is, I've only had the car a year or so. And the guy who had it before me took exceptional care of the car... Any thoughts?

yeah me too. actually I did a 100% highway drive and I pushed 434 miles outta the tank! I usually hit 400 on the dot every time (90% highway).

do a full tuneup... but 270 city miles isn't that bad either
