what is this plate on the back of my UDP?
I just got my DMS UDP an dit has a steel plate screwed to the back of it. What is this? does it have to do with the CPS? sorry for all the acronyms but this way only intelligent people will answer

I got one too. The ring is for timing. Your OEM pulley will have the same thing intergrated into it. It's all about TDC, not sure if it's for the crank position sensor.
