deal on a maxima...

ok, im tryin to figure out if its a good enough deal. its a 95 SE 5spd, tan fabric, maroon, tinted, 150k, new tranny, but... it gets beat up a lot, burnouts, driven fast, revved up a lot. u know, reckless driving im pretty shur most of the cars life. i know VQs are strong and refined so i figure this engine can take it. he wants $2500, if its got a new tranny what else is there to worry about?? u think its a good deal?

if it's a new tranny and new clutch then the only thing you need to worry about is engine problems. make sure it doesn't leak anything...

other than that, it sounds like a good deal.

Take it to a mechanic and get the engine and electrical system inspected. Also make sure he has kept up with scheduled maintnence. A compression check would be a good idea either, unless it runs incredibly smooth and starts up w/o hesitation.

You didn't mention the condition. If it's not ragged out jump on it,It's steal. At that price though I can't imagine that it is in very good shape.
