Yellow Ion fog light bulbs...

Is anyone using Yellow or Golden "Ion" fog light bulbs like these --

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2442095685

I like my $6.99 (each) 100 watt bulbs from Autozone... but I'm thinkin' of getting some that look more yellow and I haven't really seen them anywhere else. I guess the look I'm going for is kinda like the IS300.

Pics would be appreciated...

careful with higher wattage bulbs can burn ur wires and can cause cracks in the foglight glass

The only bulbs I ahve tried that are any good are the Narva's available from suvlights.com. I just made a post the other day how these bulbs are outlasting any of the other yellow bulbs I've tried...but one just blew the other day. Still, for 85W bulbs they lasted a long time...highly recommended.

People will say the PIAA's, but the PIAA's are ricey (they change colors somewhat) and WAY WAY overpriced. The Narvas are the only way to go.

i just mounted some of those 1 million candle watt power lights in my grill. You know, the big Q beams. the ones good for like a mile and a half.

Not really, but i do have one that sits on the passenger's seat for at night when an 4$$#0L3 is using his highs on me, or is riding my rear end. Works just as good as the strobe light i had on my sentra......

as for the bulb......75 - 85 Watt is as high as i would go. The previous owner of my car used 100 Watts on the fogs, and the inside of the len (Metallic/Reflective lining) is peeling off. So now i get to buy a new fog light, and they are as hard as he!! to find.

I have PIAA Ion Yellows in my fogs. Nice Yellow output similar to IS/GSs. I've had these bulbs for over 6 months w/ no problems yet.

Get cadle power from suvlights.com, they look exactly like PIAA crystal ION, but not as expensive.
