How much of a return on this type of add-on? Does replacing your Maxima VQ throttle body with a Pathfinder TB give you an increase in performance/decrease in fuel economy? Let me know.

I highly doubt it will do anything for you if you are not boosted. Maybe if you had a MEVI it would help breathing at high rpm.

It does increase throttle response, making the engine more sensitive to throttle position, especially at low throttle. It makes the car feel more aggressive, but sometimes it's a pain, like when you are in heavy, slow traffic. That's on a 5 speed, an automatic would be less twitchy feeling.

it just allows you to breath better.

Boosting would see a better result as would NOS since the better O2 mix you can get the better.

MardiGrasMax has a write up on his homepage I believe. You have to fab an adapter to make it fit. It's much larger than the stock max.
