Where is Crankshaft Position Sensor (POS)

Today I was looking for the crankshaft position sensor (POS) and I was having some trouble finding it. I took of the right plastic cover under the front bumper. The Haynes manual says it on the transaxle bellhousing. I dont really know what that is but from the pic it looks like its somewhere near the oil pan. I found some type of sensor but it dosnt look like the one in the manual. It was in front of some metal thing which I think is the transaxle bellhousing, there is a pulley one the side and the sensor is on the front of it, facing the front of the car. It unplugged from the side, not down from what the picture in the manual shows. The part that it unplugs from has a thin wire that looks like it goes in the metal thing right behind where the pulley is. I unpluged it to see if it will give me an crankshaft sensor code but it didnt give me anything and i didnt notice any different while the car was running, car still gets multiple misfires as before. Can someone explain to me where I can find the crankshaft postion sensor (POS)? Thanks.

Just left of the red hose end you'll see a 10mm bolt holding the camshaft position sensor...

Sorry, I mean crankshaft instead of camshaft. I found the other crankshaft senor (REF) which is right under the pulley. Here is a pic of what I was looking at, doesnt look like the crankshaft position sensor (POS) that is shown in the Haynes manual. Anyone know what this sensor is?
