97 lights on my 95?

I have recieved 3 emails from some guy who is selling his 97 healights and says they are a direct fit onto my 95? Is that true? I was under the impression they were different...

agreed, i have a 95 SE and put 97 headlights on, no problem whatsoever, now, if you want to put a 97-99 grill on a 95-96, then you may need to do some slight modifications

95-96 are made of glass, while the 97-99 are made of plastic and are more clearer inside.

Hmm never thought of that... I think you could do that, I believe that it wont be the same cause the reflective back of the headlight in a 97-99 is different, I could be wrong though. If you dont mind heating your headlights up, opening them up, changing the covers, resealing them properly, and heating them back up to close, then you should be fine.

If your going to do that thought...might be cheaper from a junk yard because Nissan will prolly charge you outrageous prices.

actually, the plastic is brighter than the glass. The glass is smoked whereas the plastic has the huge reflector.

i have 97+ headlights and they made a big difference visually and functionally.
