So what are our best substitute to erasers... any paste or something we can just squeeze in there and hope for it to harden ?

hey if you are removing the mounts can i remove them 1 at a time w/o supportign the engine?

so like take one off, fill w/ window stuff, wait dry 24 hr, put back in, do next one??

also theres 4 mounts right? anyone you cant take off without supporting engine/ transmission?

how do you check if your mounts are still good?
also if your mounts are bad can you still do this?

just wondering how to put them in there...cause I can't seem to squeeze any in...I must be shoving them in wrong...cause I can't even get one in....need pics with like an arrow or something of which way to shove them in

I did buy a large can of polyurethane at my local hardware store...maybe I should just do this the right way and fill it with it off the car...

FYI, guys- this thread was almost a year old, so you might not get responses from the people on page 1.

WOW, I can't believe someone found this. Make sure you lube the erasers or else they wont go in. They only fit 2 ways into the hole in the mount...directly in and sideways. For the front/rear, do ssideways and the 2 on the side do directly in. You have to kinda angle the erasers to get them in the openings, and there is a rubber flap in the side of the mounts that you have to hold back to see the hole in the mount.

I don't know how durable the erasers are after several heat cycles...
I originally used 2 or 3 pieces of fuel hose and that helped.

I now have 2 new mounts with 3M window weld filled in there. I dried/cured it in an oven for 24 hours before installing.

And no, you have to remove the engine support beam and support the engine/trans to remove the 2 mounts below (front and rear).
