Faulty Power Steering Pump?

Anyone has to replace theirs? Also, is bleeding the system necessary or 'recommended'?

Thanks.
Ange

then why replace it ange? you would have to bleed but thats just as easy as opening the power steering fluid cap and turning the wheel from left to right and back a couple of times...I think...there is no bleeder valve though.

i hear an awkward sound shortly after the car is cranked.. I have no idea what could be the cause of it... it just drives me nuts because it doesn't happen consistantly enough where I can drive the car to a mechanic and have him hear the same noise.

the small tick tick tick sound I've always had on the car...

When the car is left overnight.. and I crank the car the next morning, I hear a delayed-noise coming from driver's side of enginbay shortly after the car cranks.
