Has anyone replaced the side-marker bulbs on a 95-96? I replaced both with #194, but cannot get them to light. Don't think there is a fuse controlling only those two lights.

Any other ideas?

 

So you didn't check the fuse yet? If changing the bulbs didn't work, why not try checking the fuse?

 

Side marker??? or clearence lights???

 

the only lights on the outside of the maxima that uses 194 bulbs are the side marker lights on the bumper, underneath the clearence lights.

Everything else works? If everything else works exept for those two lights (one on each side) then the only logical answer that i can come up with is that the wire is no good. But then again, could the wire go bad on both sides? Check all of your fuses anyway.

 

Get a multi-meter and see if voltage is running thru the wire. If not, there is a short somewhere.
