Ebay KS $90

Recently there was someone on EBAY selling Knock Sensors for $90+$1 for shipping. Well the other day I checked and I didn't find the auction. I checked today and there was the ad and this time it was $90+free shipping. Well I did the buy it now. Is this the same guy? Is he legit?

Hmmm...he does have good feedback but does have 1 negative comment that states "never received the product ,never returned 1 of my 4 e-mails" and that was for a knock sensor. You should be okay. Good luck.

I know that others on the .org have ordered them and have had no problems. The only other item needed is a small hand to get in there to replace it.

It is a foot long wire that connects the ks to the harness. Sometimes the ks is fine but that wire is bad. If you remove the ks, check this wire for continuity at the same time.I just did, cause I am randomly getting ks 0304 codes . KS checks ok for 470k ohms impedance and wire is also ok. I will wait a little longer before I buy a new ks.

Check your coils too! I had this too with hesitation, changed KS, no difference. Coils solved it (at least temporarily).

Did you get a coil code? or just decided to replace the coils?

I had it diagnosed by techies since I don't have an OBD scanner and my screw seems to be missing for my ECU (Its just a hole with no screw it seems). They said it was a KS code but likely to be coils, then unplugged each cylinder to determine the bad one. I had a friend scan too, and he came back with a KS code as well for my car.

if you cant find small hands, USE A MAGNETIC pickup... I am 6'6' with size 15 feet and hands to match... I used a magnetic pickup and did the install fine by myself www.skippynet.com has great directions for this!

I get a P0325 code and no CEL. Replaced the KS but am still getting the same code. Any ideas? Cause for checking was rough idling sometimes.

Thanks
