Well today i took on the task of puting on my skyline kit.. BUT
one side was bigger than the other by like 3/8in and they both rubbed against the door. So then we put those aside and started on the back....after a taking everything apart and PRYING off the taillights i had to pull up the muffler to get it to fit in the whole and then the sides that rap around were close but the lip that goes in the wheelwell wasnt curved the way the wheelwell was and so there was no way it was going ot fit on.We didnt even try the front cuz all the fitment issues sooo the mechanic told me id best go to a body shop which i agree. But he said to be rudely honest itd cost in the thousands. which i had a hard time swallowing sooooo im asking you peoples if you know anyone in/neer chicago who does good body work and roughly how much?

Have you considered addressing this problem with the vendor you bought the kit from? If you bought it new, that's probably what you should do first.

labour could be in the hundreds... thousands means buying another kit all together.

if the skirts are high, you can actually raise the doors a smidge. idid that for my driver door as it was cutting into the sideskirt. all else was fine.

yea i gonna try and talk to them monday and get a new side and maybe a new rear but i dont wanna pay more than i have to. and how do you go about rasing the door that sounds like a good idea.
