Adjusting Idle ???
I read somewhere on how to do this, but can't find it now. I have a aftermarket setup. It used to idle at 750, now i'm at 500. Can anyone give me a quick run down on how to adjust the idle?
Thanks,

Set your PCM in diagnosis mode, start the engine, turn the black plastic screw on top of the IACV to the desired idle. Shut the engine. Reset the PCM.
To put the PCM in diagnosis mode: turn clockwise the screw on the pcm unit located next to the gas pedal behind a small plastic cover.Wait 2 seconds, then turn back. Remove the small plastic cover to access the PCM. In diagnosis mode the CEL light will flash all the malfunction codes. Code 0505 (5 long flashes followed by 5 short flashes) means no system malfunction detected.
The IACV unit is located at the entrance of the air manifold. The black plastic screw is right there on top of it.

You sure ? Haynes (page 4-12 section 16 paragraph 5 reads: "PCM must be disabled before the idle speed can be adjusted. Refer to chapter 6 and the engine in seld-diagnosis mode."
