My friend just got a 3.2TL 2001 and was braggin how he could smoke my car with his! He had a 98 se before this, and i beat it a bunch of times... and he claimed this one will rock me.. So he came up today and we went out to race! We went about 4 times and everytime was the same thing! I have an automatic and i manually shift up from 1st w/ overdirve off.. he has a 5 speed automatic with the manual shift mode.. it was sweet. Of the line i get him by about 1/2 a car eveyrtime. At 65 he is dead even with me, and at 75-80 he is 1/2 a car a head. Its not bad considering my car is a 96 GXE auto with just an intake (regular not cold air) and he has a brand new 2001 TL with 230 HP 5 speed automatic.. Anyways.. what do u guys think ? good race or i shoulve beat him more or he should have won?

 

I'm stoked with the Maxima. 4 door "family sedan" hanging with a sport car! Be proud dude.

 

Good Kill, i have never raced one of them, but would have to say it would definately be close.
