which exhaust has the most Muscle sound?

umm we drive a V6 not a V8. You want loud? A Cattman y, any test pipe, an un-resonated B pipe, and a straight through muffler.
What the hell is a muscle sound anyway? Blub, blub, blub...which is from huge cams right...so maybe any full exhaust Maxima with race cams.

The apexi ws exhaust is great because the sound is a worldly deep growl. When the y-pipe is installed the ws sounds a little farty and ricey. Does anybody else have a problem with this setup?

Muscle sound comes from a cross-plane V8, which are known for their "rumble bumble" characteristic. Displacement plays a role and so do cams, but both are nearly irrelevant when measured to simple engine configuration. Ever wonder why a 360 Modena doesn't sound like a Mustang GT, both are V8s, the Ferrari uses the far less common flat-plane crank configuration, while the Mustang uses the more widely used cross-plane crank configuration. Displacement plays very little role, a VQ35 is only .1L smaller than a 3.6L used in the Ferrari but they don't even sound remotely similar.

It sounds okay. Nothing crazy. The muffler reminds me of the OBX type.

A Maxima uses a typical V6 crank with 4 main bearings and the pins are split with a splay angle of 60 degrees, and pistons on opposite banks don't share the same pin. My point being, that none of the exhausts have the most "muscle" sound.
