Does anyone have some good advice about buying new seats. I was looking into getting racing seats, but price is an issue. Help please???!

What are you trying to accomplish? If you want racing seats you are definately going to have to open up the wallet for them; they aren't cheap. If you are considering them for racing, keep in mind that changing the seats could affect your classification in most sanctioned events, such as SCCA Solo II.

The 4th gen seats are not the most comfortable, but converting another car's seats to the Maxima would be a big PITA. Maybe some I30 seats would be more comfortable.

If you just need to upgrade or replace torn upholstery, there are plenty of guys selling their old seat covers (including me). New seat covers and new foam can make an old seat look and feel like new.
