i was going up a small hill and my tires were spinning and then my ABS light when on and I went right up the hill, did the ABS help me, i dont get it...

 

I wouldn't worry about it. The ABS sensors probably just detected a large difference in wheels speed and freaked out. If your ABS light is off now, it won't matter. No, it didn't help you get up the hill.

 

happened with me too, but everything is better now and light is off

 

I have the opposite reaction. My ABS light does not come on , but my ABS is kicking in( I know because of the pulsation of the brake pedal when I brake hard on wet surfaces). Yes , the ABS is working but no light. I will like to note that ABS light is on , when ignition is turned on .
If anyone have any input , kindly respond.

same thing happend to me, i was realy woried that i messed something up. while the light was on i realized i had no abs. I turen my car off and turned it back on a few seconds later and it was all good. I guess its normal.
