How much should a rebuilt starter cost?

I need a starter for my 99 SE. Here are the price quotes I've gotten. I am in NJ.

Prices do not include labor:
(All are rebuilds)
Dealer: $365
Autoparts store: $270
Generator and Starter shop: $150

Anybody care to share what they've paid in the past? Thanks ahead of time!

I bought a rebuilt from Autozone for about $100 (you have to give them the old one). And it carries a lifetime warranty.

I just picked one up from the dealer about two hours ago. It was 320$. They'll give me 60$ back when I bring in the old starter. So 260$, which is about what I expected. If you're looking to save as much as possible, check NAPA or Auto-Zone. They both have a reasonable selection and a large price range.

That's why I usually buy alternators at Autozone - if it goes bad, just pop it off and go get a new one. Since they keep all your info on file now, you don't even need a receipt.

I just got my alternator and starter replaced at the dealership two weeks ago. The alternator was $300 and the starter was $190 but I didn't have to pay anything because the car is under warranty.
