KOBA bulbs off of Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2449503680

Says that it doesn't draw any extra current but act as a higher wattage bulb. Has anyone tried these? If so, do they need an upgraded harness? Also, how is the color?

these are my headlights, i would deffinitly recommend them, i got them about half a year ago, maybe a lil more, had no problems at all and i didn't upgrade the harness. once, i compared them to my friend's $65 PIAA headlights, looked exactly the same when looked at them straight on

Thanks bro, that helped a bunch, I'll probably go ahead and order them. I can't afford HID's so I'll have to settle for some "HID" bulbs.

i have a pair of these sitting in my house. I changed them cuz they sucked. one side was nice and blue, the other headlight looked yellower compared to the other but still shined nice and blue. The shine is nice, but when u look at the car, one looks stock and the other looks blue.

i have these bulbs. they are rated at 4,800k and it is a bit brighter than my old hyperwhite 4,000k. it is rated at stock voltage, so you don't need to worry about harmness.

i have it on for 6 months. it SUX at night because it does not project out like the halogen. the blue-ish KOBA tint reflects on the wet road and disappear in the darkness, highly NOT RECOMMEND if you live in a wet area. other than that it's just like any other fake HIDs.

The blue tint eventually burns out, after which you get a nice cool white. Aleast that what happen for me anyways.

I had a set for about 2 weeks and I don't know if it was the bulbs or my harness but the fuses keep blowing out time and time again when I install the Köba's but when I put in the stock bulbs, the fuse is fine... They looked great and really white when they were installed but they weren't worth the hassle...
