Super sensitive brakes.

I have owned the Maxima for about 18 months and I find the brakes to be super sensitive. I especially notice it after driving other cars. I have never driven a car where the brakes come on so much so fast. This might be great for track days but for driving around town it is annoyng to my passengers and me. I spent 5 years as a Chauffeur and I know how to drive smoothly and modulate the brakes for a limousine ride but it is hard with my '97 SE. Does anyone else agree with me, and does anyone know a possible remedy to this?

I enjoy my brakes quite responsive...why change something to make it looser or less responsive seem unnecessary and dangerous....gwt used to them and enjoy. I've driven my dates cars here and there and damn I didn't feel safe at all!

and if they were slow to respond and slushy you'd complain about that too, so take them for what they are and adjust your braking technique

mine are non-sensitive because they're goin out... time for a brake job when I got the car 8 months ago they were excellent...but after 2 roadtrips, and a lot of stop and go traffic later, they are dying....

My rear is fine and my dad just got my front rotors and pads replaced at this weirdo shop so they used crappy pads I'll redo all the brakes and rotors this summer so until then I'll just live with it...

Atleast my squeaking is almost gone (only hear it sometimes) so that's a good thing
