any opinions on a new horn? i think the stock one is weak and wouldn't scare anyone even if they are standing next to the car w/ the hood open...i need something loud...this one kid i know w/ a suburban got this new horn that is really loud and has a lot of different sounds...he can make it an ice cream truck sound etc....but his normal horn is really really loud...i don't talk to him enough to find out about it though...so anyone have opinions on better horns/model #s/prices for these horns?

FIAAM(sp?) horns at Pepboys for $14... they're not listed in my sig. Get a high note (for front) and low note (for back).

Only heard the FIAAMs because I have them. There are two types of loudness... 125 and 132. Guess which one I bought?

They're not going to give you American sounding horns... just louder Japanese horns.

What you (and I) are looking for is the sound from a 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood Broughm, or any late model GE locomotive.

The Max horn really needs some work.

For the money, the Fiamm's are fine - easy mod to get the respect that the MAX deserves.

Why don't you guys get a PA so you can just yell at the other drivers? "Hey you in the Civic, pull that POS over!"

Not plug and play but manageable.

so how hard is the install? do you still have your stock horns connected? do they just hook up to the existing wires from the old horns? last question...how much did you pay for the airhorns and compressor?

Hey, how do you like them? Ive heard some sound files of the FIAAM and te Hella triples, and they sound kinda wimpy, like somthing youd find at a sports event. how do these sound? are they deep and "vocal". my mom has a Buick Roadmaster that sounds like a train, how would the Hella Supertones compare?

thanx!

functionality first, mods later?

How 'bout we all worry about bombarding Nissan with this CRAPPY PAIN IN THE BUTT tranny problem for all us Millenium Maxima owners....(i looked back and the 99's had something too) before worrying about mods for a car that might not even shift soon!
