bulbs behind gauge cluster..
bulbs behind gauge cluster..
I was wondering how exactly the bulbs behind the gauge cluster or oriented..because I saw pics on here of someone who did superwhite numbers with red behind the needle. How many places are there behind there to put leds and where are they? I was thinking white numbers with a blue needle if I dont go with rev indiglos.
I just changed my bulbs to hyperwhite, I had to solder 194 bulbs in. Im not sure what the bulbs are for a 97, I think they already have 194 bulbs. Blkmax95c used all white bulbs, the needles are colored red stock and the hyperwhite bulbs just made them brighter.
oh alright I wasnt sure if that was the stock red or not because it was so bright..I like the way it looks. Too bad I'm not doing a red color scheme. I'll prolly either do all blue leds or go with the indiglos. Are the rev indiglos on ebay the same quality as the ones from elsewhere?

hmm..rev indiglos it is then. How hard are these to install and how long will it take? I'm gonna pick them up on ebay.
I tried changing the bulbs in my car and it looks real nasty... I used both LED's and regular bulbs but the LED's are spotty and the colored bulbs are very dim... my suggestion is to either get the intelliglow needles or gauges.
You can make the needle red by coloring it with sharpie or get a seperate indiglow needle. The needle will be whatever color your bulbs are. The bulb placement is as follows; One behind gas gauge two behind tach, one behind speedo and one at edge of speedo. At least thats how it is in my 95.
