Fabled ignition coil problem & Ypipe question

Hi all,

My service engine soon came on last week and I brought it in for a diagnosis. I was told I had a 'multiple cylinder misfire' and 'primary ignition' error code. They wanted to change all 6 but I think it's just one. I figured this out by disconnecting and reconnecting cylinder #2 and the car still shuddered.

I bought a Hanshin coil from an auto parts store for 120CAN. I do understand this is a common annoyance for a maxima but my question is - can I get away with this single bandaid fix and wait for the next one to fail? I'm not sure if it's wise but I don't want to drop $700+ just yet It's amazing those plastic tubes are so expensive.

My second question is, being in Canada, if I got a Ypipe, will that impact my emissions test result?

Thanks!
