angel eye fog hybrid into headlights?

this is the plan, i do not have enough money for HID's and i cream my pants everytime i see a car with double angel eye headlights. so i see these fog lights that have angel eyes and took a rough measurement and they should in theory fit inside a maxima headlight case. so i would take apart our headlights, use the lense and make a new back with brackets out of plastic and place 2 angel eye fogs in each case, the hard part is aiming them and wiring 4 fogs to 2 harnesses. what does everyone think of this? think it can be done relatively cheap? i would like some feedback. thanks.

It could be an interesting project. You wouldnt get the visibility you would with regular headlights, and for the price Im betting you'll pay for the project, you could get HID's.

i was thinking about this idea. i was thinking: "what if I can put an angel eyed fog in the headlight?".. but then again, i am assuming the visibility will suck.. but you said you're going to put two per headlight?? that will make it brigher..
but then again, with all that time and effort, just buy HIDs..

Not sure how much they cost now adays, but i think the angel eye fogs are like a hundred bucks or so. you would need 2 sets, plus another set of headlights, You will probably need backup. you are well over the 300 dollar range already. just get yourself some hid's and be done with it.

When I found that link a while back that was the single greatest bookmark I think I have ever made. When I finally get my projectors from indigo (let's get a move on with those!) I plan on installing these home-made angel eyes like george has. Man I'm still up in the air whose car I like better, George's or araffio's... They both are GENUISES!

badass!
