how hard is it to install MEVI?

I looked up the directions on vqpower's how to's and it looks pretty involved. Is it difficult to do? I can do the basics on a car like changing an alternator or changing the belts, would I need to know a little more than those basics to install a MEVI?

Thanks
Chris

Its really not that bad...but give yourself time and make sure when you take a bolt off of the manifold put it right onto the VI manifold so none are lost. Also make sure you get a Good torque wrench that goes as low at the specified trq. settings for those front bolts....the first one i borrowed didnt go that low and i wound up breaking a bolt

Well hopefully your right. I think I'll give it a shot and if I do it wrong, well I was going to pay for some one to put it on anyway.

theres no real way to "do it wrong"....unless you put the dam* thing in backwards....

the only spot I had problems on was the EGR valve in the back and the rear set screws...I stripped one of the EGR valve bolts out and had to have a macanic come over and give me slite assistance...FOLLOW THE STEPS IN ORDER, and take your time
