Problem with Cooling System ?? PLEASE ??
Alright on my buddies 95' SE 130K miles on it 5spd
He was having a bad leak for a while in the cooling system so he brought the car to get a water pump put in at a NISSAN dealership...he got the car back and it runs on C or just above..if the car sits for a few minutes at idle, it kicked up to where it used to sit half way between the C and the H before the water pump was put in. He also isnt get a good amount of heat in the cab...its warm but not HOT like it used to be when he set it to 85 (climate control)...the car no longer leaks but this is a big problem..when he drives the temp gauge is at or right about C...
My thaughts were:
Fans not plugged in-----they are
Fan Fuse's blew possible-----cant check its dark and cold out
or The Thermostat is bad (not operating properly) ??
any ideas please hit me back

Pretty darn likely the thermostat, if the engine temp is running only on Cold. If the engine was warming, and heat didn't blow, that could be tons of stuff. But likely bad thermostat. You could check radiator fluid, but since the car is running Cold, I doubt it. Fix the thermostat.

thermostat. You said it no heat in cabin is the thermostat. Whats happening is recycling the water into the radiator not letting the engine warm properly. Hurts the car in many ways to include bad fuel mileage. Replace the thermostat and that should fixt the problem. replace it yourself, it only costs about $10.00 and three little 10mm nuts. How easy could that get? Let us know what happens when your done
I second the thermostat theory, as its job is to remain closed and let the engine heat up and then temp. gauge will rise up, and afterwards it will open up at a predetermined temp. and let the coolant flow thru the rest of the system where it would be cooled off by the rad/fans combo. This is done because the engine is suppose to run at an 'optimal' temp. not cold, and not hot.
