i was wondering, how much will everyone be willing to pay for a front carbon fiber lip? something that will look similar to the stillen kit, 4th gen.
i know someone who has started a new business, custom made carbon fiber anything. so, if there is enough people to buy them, i can tell him and he may be able to fabricate something if he has enough people. let me know guys.

he just needs enough people to start one.
and im sure it'll be good price. i also asked him to make some hoods.
if there will be enough people on that, he'll also start fabricating it.
i know its a new company, but he said for sure its better quality than VIS hoods.

There was someone who tried to start a carbon fibre lip group deal in the group deal forums a little while back. A CF lip is a fantastic idea primarily because the lip doesn't need to be painted. I think if he could somehow duplicate the stillen front lip, he would gain a large amount of customers.
I cant stress this enough....In order to get people interested in anything custom made, you NEED to have a prototype example created and pictures posted.

MAXSRB is correct. This was brought up in the GD section. I spoke to Jose from ionicdynamics just yesterday and he informed me the mold is almost complete.
Once it is it will be posted in the GD section. Price is suppposed to be around 300.00
This is comming from the same creator of the CF trunk. See pics in the general forum.

yeah the carbon fiber lip and the cf trunk projects have seem to come toghther. i am patiently waiting the completion of the cf lips. but the ones we are getting through ionic ar the 97+ stillen lips. so the 95-96 guys may want a cf lip made.

i am waiting for the word and then im cruisin down with 1fstmax to pick up my lip.

They will be slightly higher then the stillen lip, but will come out cheaper in the long run being that you wont have to paint it.
CF is always going to cost more then Polyurethene or fiberglass. Especially when its being custom made.

Maybe somthing like the EVO or VIS invader for the 4th GENs.

I am working with Ionic to produce a Stillen 97-99 Carbon fiber lip. I belive he is just finishing up the mold for it. It should be a matter a days when the first lip comes out.

i really don't get all this cheaper talk. this is the reason that hardly any companies like making parts for maximas anymore. everyone wants parts but the majority of the people b1tch about the prices well guess what. we do no town civics (thank god) companies will not compete for our business like they do with honduhs. but then when someone does come out with something. people do not want to pay....... WTF?!?!?!?!!??! and then everyone starts complaining about how noone makes anything for our cars.

cf lip cheaper than the stillen lip????????? yeah right not in your wildest dreams would that be the case.

this is all i have to say. if you want the part???? pay up or shut up.

maximus_95 ionic is making the 97-99 front lip.
you may be able to get th 95-96 front lips made.
