mum mum sound? wheel bearings?

Can't use the search for some reason. Im getting a mumming sound from my car and it is probably the wheel bearing. Could it be anything else? If so, how much would it cost to fix it? I think it's only coming from the passenger side front wheel. Any suggestions?

Thanks

First, check to see if your tires are not defective, go to a tire shop and ask if they are before you spend $$ on wheel bearings...Good luck!

If your tires are old or worn, there could be a lot of noise. I used to have a set of Dunlop D60 A2's and after about 20k miles on them, they were pretty damn loud. I wondered, like you, that maybe the wheel bearings or CV joints were bad but when I went to put on the winter set, the noise was completely gone.
