Oxygen Sensor Question ??

Oxygen Sensor Question ??

The light came on today and it was the front oxygen Sensor would a bad oxygen Sensor affect the performance of the MAX or just bad gas mileage cause i feel my car in loss of power should i replace the 02 sensor right away or it could wait i need your guys opinion should i go with the NTK or Bosch your advice would br greatly appreciate

Replace it when you can. Why not replace it now? Get whichever one you want... it's no big difference.

I replaced mine.You can borrow the socket from auto zone and do it yourself to save money.I tried but I couldn't quite get to it but maybe you can.

i just order 1 online as i know there are 3 oxygen sensor front center and rear but at this website that i order there are 2 to choose from the front Oxygen Sensor at header pipe inlet RH (firewall side) and Oxygen Sensor at header pipe inlet
LH (radiator side) i order the RH (firewall side) are they both the same please someone respond i don't want to order the wrong one here is the website that i order it from

Looks like you ordered the correct one. As far as performance loss, it's possible. Was the O2 sensor the only code? I know the knock sensor will sometimes throw a code in conjunction with O2s and it definately restricts power when that code is present. Not sure about O2s but I'd bet they'd do the same.

the Knock Sensor was replace not too long ago so i don't think it was the Knock Sensor the mechanic reset the ECU for me so far the light haven't came back on for 2 days but i'll change the 02s sensor anyway since i been having bad gas mileage your help is greatly appreciate
