PCV valve location and A/C Blower location

1st Where is the PCV valve located on the 95?

2nd Where is the blower motor located on the vehicle. It has auto climate control and is now not blowing. If I open the hood and close it, the jostling causes the blower to engage. Any advice is appreciated and as always, thanks.

My Chiltons manual shows that item #3 in the picture is the PCV valve. This is their picture of a VQ30DE engine.

Brake booster? The brake booster is not that small and its off to the right of the picture (cut-off). The PCV valve is screwed onto the intake manifold! Look at the black tube which is attached to a nipple that's attached to the top of the intake manifold. Item #6 is the EVAP canister purge control valve.

I am posittive that #3 is NOT the PCV valve...Ive had my manifold off 2-3 times and the PCV valve is close to #6...its not #6 either

Plus the PCV valve does not have a screw on it...it adapts into the manifold by a rubber gasket

Here's the entire photo of the VQ30DE emissions, scanned from my Chiltons manual.

The PCV valve is located around #6 for sure. I am not positive what #3 is but I changed my PCV valve a few weeks ago. It is around #6. The PCV valve, i think, goes into the rear valve cover. It is deffinetely not #3. If you look into the engine bay, behind the throttle body, look straight down. There is ONE rubber hose connected to a black plastic piece. That is the PCV valve.

I don't doubt you guys about the PCV valve location. But then, why does it show in the photo (off of Chilton) that #3 is the PCV valve. Does anyone have another diagram from a Haynes manual about this?

the PCV valve is in a rubber bushing in the valve cover by #6...it does not screw in..#3 does screw in (I just put in my VI)

So what do you call #3 then? I accidentally found out what happens when you run the engine w/o the hose on #3 plugged in. The engine idles very roughly and has a loud hissing noise like air is being sucked in or blown out hard!

If you follow that line it runs down over to the brake booster on the other side of the engine bay....it gets vaccume from the manifold there I guess...when you take that off and actually look at the part, all it is a fitting that screws into the manifold, its not an actual valve like the PVC is...

I just looked into my Chiltons book and the PCV valve is labled #1 and its around #6..

Thanks Matt, I guess you just can't believe everything that 3rd party service manual says. I have found a few discrepancies in my Chiltons manual, dealing with the EGR system. Now the PCV is definitely an addition to the list.

Thanks for the replies and the diagram definitely helps. Any clues on the A/C blower coming on only when I slam the hood? I appreciate the help.

Sounds like something may be loose...
To help you find the PCV valve more easily, here are a couple pics.

Hope this helps!
