Yes, another suspension question. Those who have owned both Eibach & progress??
OK, I have searched read just about every post concerning the comparison between these springs. Most of which are opinions of those who have only owned one of the two or those who have not owned either, which is useless to me.
Here is the situation. I am currently on Eibach and tokico HP's. The blues are worn out and need replacing. I have new GR-2's sitting in the garage waiting for a warm day to be installed. Since I will have the suspension taken apart I thought that it would be a good time to switch springs if I am ever going to so.
I would not mind a bit of a lower drop and a softer spring....so progress seems to be about the only other option. But I don't want to spend the money on somthing that will not be a noticeable difference.
So these question is for those of you that have owned both springs.
1. Will the drop of the progess springs being noticeably lower then the Eibachs, or is it such a small difference I won't be able to tell?
2. Are the progress any less stiff then the Eibachs?
3. For $160 is the difference in the above questions worth the switch?
I am generally happy with the Eibachs so, I only want to switch if there are noticeable advantages to switching in regards to the stiffness and drop.
Thanks guys!

K, I dont own both . .however, I have Eibach Prokits (Tok Blues) in my 1997 SE Automatic, and my friend who has a 95 SE Automatic has Progress (AGXs). I have driven his car, as well as rode it in many times. . .
The Eibach has a better drop, it sits lower, although the back of the Eibach is a little sagged (perhaps because of my aftermarket stereo), where as the progress seems to have the back not as low, giving it a nice look. As far as handing goes, its not that fair concidering I have the Blues and he has AGXs, but im confident the Eibachs would handle better. I wouldn't trade my Eibachs for anything, but I would get Illuminas over my ****ty Tok Blues.
