Who would win?????????
This is probably a dumb question but I just want to know...Since maximas with a JWT ECU have higher rev-limiters installed in them. They obviously go past 7k. They would spend more time at higher rpms. Thus picking up speed faster. Since technosquare and others do not have this ability to put on their ECUs. Who would you think would win, a stock maxima with a JWT ECU or a stock maxima with a TS ECU? And do you think it would be much of a difference?

Being able to rev more doesn't mean you're going to pick up speed faster. Every car has a specific shift point to get the best acceleration. Winding your car out to 8k or whatever isn't going to make you accelerate any faster unless you make power up there, which with a simple ECU and bolt ons upgrade, you DONT.

Stock for stock, other than the ECU upgrade, I think the TS would win, supposedly it has more aggressive timing. Obviously there are so many factors though... I guess if you put the ECU into the same car with the same driver and ran the 1/4 mile under the same conditions, it'd be a fairly accurate test, but the difference will be negligable I'd think.
Right, without the VI, the extended redline is useless. Since they both basically do the same thing, I think the race would pretty much be even. It looks like you've got a 97, so the JWT won't work as easily for you as 95-96 guys. I haven't heard that the TS ECU had more aggressive timing...and I think you can tell JWT to advance your timing even further if you want. It would be a drivers race.

So what i'm getting is that only to really tell what ECU is better or faster, is if I have a VI?
