The butt dyno says WHOA

Since there's always posts about how much people's cars are sucking and stuff, I figured I'd make one about how great my car is running right now. Yea, I still need to get some bodywork done, I need to get new rims and summer tires, I'd like to redo my interior, I want subframe connectors and now maybe even a stillen kit after seeing Dave's newly RIDICULOUSLY HOT looking car, I need to order my Y-Pipe, I need to get the Redline MT-90 in ther ASAP, the car is crazy caked with salt, etc. BUT...

I got the car up to about 117 for the first time in awhile and the **** is just FLYING. I know what the dynos and experience say about catbacks and HAI's not producing much more power, but I SWEAR I have never felt the car pull above 100 like this. The thing sounds nasty and is just crazy fast. I came out of an awesome highway interchange (128 -> rt 2 for you m*******s) where the H&R/AGX's were in full effect and just stayed WOT through a 3 lane change around traffic and kept going almost to 120. The thing is just ROCK solid.

After I got my suspension done this summer I was too broke and too busy to even get an alignment, so until very recently I had either had a bad alignment or bad tires (they went bald in the front from the lack of alignment). So I am really just starting to be able to really see what the car is capable of now that I have new rubber and a good alignment. Man, I am soooo glad I bought a Max now. I got the new speakers slamming, the car is just *****-a$$ fast...nice. I have a LOOOOOOOOOOT of work to do and a LOOOOOOOT of money to spend over the next couple months, but I feel like I'm really making progress for the first time since I bought the car.

Those HAI really thrive on the cold winter air. They flat out scream.

Good thread.
My car is running really well right now too...except for an exhaust leak I get to fix on Tuesday.

New mod added and another on Tuesday...after that my car will scream a LOT more.
I also have an HAI so I am loving the colder air too!!!

A butt dyno is about as accurate as a G-TECH, take that either way you want.
