I though this would be a good idea for 2 reasons.

1.) I hate dud panels, it makes me feel like I didn't get every option. And in this case, it is not our fault. There never was an option that came in that panel. (From what I understand, it was the trunk release on the I30s).

2.) Since our security light is to the left of the steering wheel, would-be crooks can't see it blink from the right side of the car. I always felt that a security light should be close to the stereo.

So, I bought a second security panel/light from a junkyard and I plan on installing it soon. It appears to just be two wires.

A.) What do you guys think of the idea?

B.) Is it just a matter of tapping into the existing security light and splitting the signal?

 

i qould just run it in parrallell with the exsisting led
