Identity crisis resolved

I guess I finally resolved my Maxima 'identity crisis'. The Maxima's that come into the United Arab Emirates simply go as the Maxima 30J and 30GV. I can now safely say that they equate to the US Infiniti I30/I30T models.

So I've got an Infiniti I30, how nice...

Anyway, after staying 'modification sober' for over a year, I'm ready to give in...

tint, intake, lights, springs/struts, FSTB

but this is an opinion question, it depends if u wanna go fast look good or handle good, those 5 cover it all

- engine power
- handling
- cosmetics

Which category(ies) interest you most? What is the budget? Is it practical for you to order items from the US? Do you have the skill and tools to do some of the work yourself?

I think I'll start with Engine Power. I've got a budget of about $2000. I would definitely have to order the items from the US - the mods market here sucks. Which means more money spent on Shipping/Handling and a 4% tax. I'd give cosmetics the lowest priority.

DIY is still quite new to me. I'm ashamed to admit that I'm dazzlingly mediocre with my tools/skills. But I'm gonna have to give it a shot.

maxse91: Thanks for the mods. One particular item on your list carries a hefty fine here in the UAE. The tint. You have to be a UAE national to apply for a permit to tint your vehicle. If you're caught without a permit, the fine is AED 10,000 (approx $2700)

intake
exhaust
pulley
computer upgreade
free flow CAT ( not sure about emissions over there)

sound like a better combo? a computer upgrade will be worth the $ too......

those are the basics.... i would pick the other 4 over the free flow CAT unless u got some $ left over, its not the greatest mod
