I am considering removing my fog lights to install some huge air hoses to create a somewhat of a "ram-air" effect. Anybody has done this yet? If so, does this mod give you a noticeable increase at 30+mph?

I am also considering builing a plastic box around the intake to fully create the effect. Any ideas?

if you wanted to use tubes from your fog lights to your intake youd have to drill a hole in your fender wall. And as far as building a box around he intake, have fun with the battery being where it is, you would have to move the battery for sure to do that.

Why not make tubes to cool the brakes down, and route cold air to the intake from where the resonator box is on the normal intake(to the left and lower than the battery)

Done that already...

Thanks for taking the time to give me the advice. I have already run a 2" tube from the bottom of my left fog light to the slot between my fender and my battery, and it really helped at high speeds.

I am just getting a little greedy, that's all! By removing the fog light assembly, I am hoping to get enough room to replace the current tube with a 4" tube. Just the thought of the extra air being pushed into the engine sends chills down my spine.... brrr...

I am definitely thinking about relocating the battery. 40 lbs in the wrong location could be very costly on the track....

if you get the front lip then you can keep your fogs and run the ram air from the hole in the lip..
