Front end noise

I have been having a problem with a clunking noise from the right side and left side of car. It happens when I go over bumps. I put new kyb gr 2 struts on with new strut mounts and new rubber spring seats, i also made sure the ends of the springs were wraped with tubing. Did all of this but it still make this noise. Does anybody have any suggestions????

Thanks
cp

How do your Front sway bar bushings look? Or your end link bushings?

http://www.courtesyparts.com/energys...on/maxima.html

My sway bar bushings were shot(1/3 of rubber was torn out), and the noise went away when i replaced those. Tho I also replaced the end link bushings as well, but when I removed everything, the sway bar bushings had the most damage/wear.

Now I have some higher pitched clinking in the rear to tackle, which is my lateral link ($70). But I've been just to lazy to take that out (One of the bushings is missing like 50% of rubber). Oh yeah...has anyone seen a polyurethane solution to the rear lateral link? I haven't, but I don't know for sure. Anyone?

They are worn a little but not too bad. I'm wondering if it could be control arm bushings? I have about 84k miles.

I had the same problem. I remembered I had flat about two weeks ago. so I said to my self may be the Jack is not secure good, so I went to the trunk and look at my jack, good enough the jack was not seated in place. So I made the necessary adjustment and now that noise is gone. i am not saying you have the same problem, but you should check that......
