G2 Styling Spray

Has anyone here used these to paint their interior/dashboard? how many bottles would i need to paint the entire dashboard, and also maybe the door panels.

You would need at least 3-4 boxes of the paint. The paint also dries relatively quick, so you'd want to use each can as quick as possible. I think there are better options than the G2.

Hey, why NOT do it?! I did mine and it came out great. My dashboard was fugly brown/tan and I painted mine black. I don't have pics up yet but I did my dashboard, steering wheel, airbags, and door panels and it looks awesome. It's not rice at ALL. Philly...go ahead and do it man, it's EXTREMELY WORTH IT!!! I didn't use G2, it was rather expensive compared to what I used, SEM "Colorcoat". The cans are about $10/each and I used 2 of them. All I need know is some two-tone black/white leather seat covers from leatherseats.com I think it's the best and cheapest mod there is for the Maxima. Good Luck!!

The only reason why people mess up is that they don't take there time with things. I removed my dashboard completely out of my car, scrubbed it down, and used some vinyl prep spray from SEM. I primed it, and took my time spraying it. It came out flawless. It's really not that hard as long as you take your time and put on light coats. Be careful, take your time, use your brain and you'll be golden.

I did, I couldn't stand looking at my brown dash any longer. A friend of mine Ian did this mod too....used the exact same paint I did. Maybe he can read this thread and share his thoughts. It's not HARD. I'd rather paint my dashboard than throw some altezza's on my ride. I would NEVER do that

Sure thing man, It was snowing up here In New England and I was advised buy my parents to stay home and forget doing your dashboard project until this week. LOL, So instead, I drove to my friend's house and gutted out my dashboard, airbags included. The project took a good 4-5 hours considering I cleaned the vinyl up with soap and water and let it dry out. I then got out the primer and used two coats of it. Then used SEM Colorcoat spray paint and went at it. Looks GOOD! I will try to get some pics somehow, I don't own a digital camera, just a regular film one, so I'd have to scan them. A buddy of mine Ian did this project and I have some pictures that I will send you in a minute. GOOD LUCK!!
