I turn right and smoke tires, turning left i can't

I turn right and smoke tires, turning left i can't

well if i floor it from a stop while turning right i can smoke the tires but if i floor it turning left it doesnt ..what can it be another problem with my tranny or the axle,etc???

You may have more power going to the right wheel. Because it's at more of an angle than the left wheel in a right hand turn, it spins with less traction. In a left hand turn, the right wheel has better traction because it's not at so much of an angle. The only way to really send equal power to both wheels is a Quaife (I think that's how it's spelled) Differential which costs $,$$$.

Quaife doesn't give equal power to both wheels. It only gives 25% power to the slipping wheel to equal to power transfer in the turns. To get equal power, you need a Posi-Trac Differential.

i think it just has something to do with front engine fwd cars. they always have torque steer in relation to the wa y the engine rotates, maybe this is related to your delima?

Or maybe your left is better than your right.
