light humming sound from rear of car?

light humming sound from rear of car?
i know that the tires make a slight hum in the back of a car, but mines sounds somewhat louder... some one told me that it might be a bad rear wheel bearings... anyone know if this is the problem or have had a similiar experience... all help is appreciated.. thanks
