I just got my Vibrant FSTB two days ago and I already knew that it wouldn't fit because of that little bracket on the strut tower. I was going to cut it off today but I was wondering what the bracket is there for. Why would nissan decide to put it there for the '99's only? Can anyone help me out?

I am also shopping for a torque wrench, does anyone know a store that sells them pretty cheap that I can get off the internet. Thanks.

Look at the engine bay for 2000->

You will see the same bracket, but it's used to hold some type of connector or sensor.

If you want to buy a torque wrench go ahead, but... just for the FSTB install, its not really required. Just lean on the bolts a little, they only need 35 ft-lbs. I just borrow one form Autozone when I really need one, its free.
