I was reading in the how to's after installing an intake you need to reset the ECU. Is this true? What does it help? and are ther instructions anywhere to do this.
Thanks in advance.

Most people say by reseting the computer, the the computer will "learn" of your new modifaction and adjust accordingly faster.

no need to reset, but this is how if you REALLY want to. dont skip step #4, cause a lot of people do.
1. Turn the selector screw clockwise to its stop.
2. Wait 2 seconds.
3. Return back by turning the screw counterclockwise to its stop.
4. IMMEDIATELY REPEAT steps 1 to 3.

Resetting the ECU only clears error codes, it does not effect operating parameters.
