when you put in the new knock sensor

when u put in the new knock sensor do u have to reset the ecu because i havnt yet and my light is still on

Yes. Reset the CEL and the light will go off. If you really fixed the problem it won't come back this week!

yes, and when youre resetting it.....make sure you reset it right. do not skip #4 on the directions

really? cuz last time i diagnosed my CEL, it said Knock Sensor and after getting other things repaired, the CEL never came back on so i'm not sure if my car's KS is bad or not

yes when you diagnose it, it will show if its bad but Im saying is that when it goes bad, it wont make the light pop up unless theres other codes along with the KS code
