Wiper washer doesn't work
Since I purchased my car in December, my wiper washers haven't worked. There is a hose that runs along the firewall by the engine that connects to a splitter, which then connects to the nozzles. Well this hose was disconnected...but even so it would not dispense any water. In fact, nothing happens when I push the stalk forward- no hum from the motor, either. Where can I start looking? Where is the motor? This car had the passenger fender replaced and I'm thinking maybe this happened as a result...anyway...I need to get this working! Thanks everyone!

are u saying the wind shiled wipers also dont move when u push it foward? if so, u got a problem and u should take it to a repair joint. otherwise, see if u can connect that hose. also try to open the hood and have a friend or something do the wiper fluid and see if any comes out of the tube. *make sure u have fluid in there*

I have two Maximas -- a 95 SE and a 96 GXE. About two months ago, the same thing happened on the 96. I pulled the passenger front wheel and the plastic liner. You'll be able to see the reservoir and the motor is on the bottom of the reservoir. Pull the reservoir and remove the motor (pump). I was able to split it open, free the shaft and clean the pump and reseal it with a little silicone at the seam. It worked and has worked since then.
The worst part is getting to the reservoir. Plastic fender liner has to come out and the bottom cover (also plastic) comes out.
I didn't check at the dealer to see how much a pump motor is because I needed it to work that weekend and I knew the dealer didn't stock it (small town).
Also, I figured, "what the hell, it doesn't work now!"
Good luck.
