removing grille
so iwas going to do the ae headlights today but i couldnt get the stupid grille off! i know that you have to turn that little square "screw" thing but i cant seem to get a flathead in to turn it nor can i turn it from behind. HELP! i have the paint sitting in my garage and my lights are begging to be painted.

you dont twist it...they are popped off with a flat head from in front of the mounting clip you are referring to...use a slim flat head and wedge it from the front portion of the grill and that pair of diamonds will compress and the grill will pop forward slightly...then you can remove it with some mild pressure.

i'm also trying to remove my grill, but having problems. wizzamax, i'm having trouble picturing what you're saying about putting a flathead in the front portion of the grill where the diamonds are. could you possibly post a pic of what we're supposed to be looking for? thanks

yea just stick a flat head between the grill and body of the car where the connectors are and just pry them out....then just take the grill my the painted bar in the middle of it and just pull up slightly and out with alittl ebit of force
