02 sensor check

i installed my y-pipe, was doing it late at night so i wound up cutting the wires to both O2 sensors so i could get the stock pipe off, anyway, i put everythign back and reconnected everything, im getting a CEL code 10-01 from the front O2 sensor (no CEL prior to ypipe install), im not sure if i damaged it in the process of installing it, possibly banged it around, is there anyway to test if my O2 sensor is damaged, it could be bad splicing on my part but id like to check all possibilities
thanks in advance

i'd buy a OEM replacement rather than universal because they are plug-and-play.

u can buy one from oxygensensors.com.. or thepartsbin.com make sure u check ur cars prodcution date before buying... u didnt really need to cut the O2 sensor wires.. u could have unpluged them from the engine compartment and cut the clips off and let the whole wire including hte connector come off with the stock Y pipe....
