The motor works when i turn on the FM/AM, but there is no antenna. It is how I bought the vehicle. Is that all I need to fix it.

Thx

Well if there is no antenna then that's what you need. Do you get reception w/ the radio? Because maybe someone put in a diff antenna.

Then go get a new antenna. I had a different problem, the headunit I had didnt have a wire to use a power antenna, so the radio had no reception- or at least very poor. So I had to rig up a switch to use the antenna.

As long as your motor is working, then the mast off of e-bay is what you need. I purchased the same/similar mast a few months ago. My antenna was in place; it just didn't go up and down.

The only possible problem is that there is a broken piece of the plastic thread from the antenna still down in the motor. If you get the new mast, you will need to turn the radio off, so that the motor tries to retract the antenna. While the motor is doing this, feed the new thread down into the hole and it should grab on.

If there is a piece of the old thread in the motor, you will need to remove the motor from the side-wall (inside the trim panels inside the trunk), take it apart and remove the old piece. Good luck
